These Terms of Service govern your use of quantummeditationsociety.org (the “Site”) and the programs, events and services offered by Quantum Meditation Society USA (“QMS USA,” “we,” “us”). 2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian’s permission, to register, donate or create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for activity under your account. Please give accurate information and keep it up to date. 3. Donations
QMS USA is a nonprofit organization. Donations are voluntary and generally non-refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error, contact us within 30 days and we will review the request. We use donations at our discretion to further our charitable mission, and we honor donor designations where possible. Tax-deductibility depends on your circumstances; please consult your tax advisor.
Recurring donations continue until you cancel them through your account or by contacting us. Payments are processed by third parties such as Stripe and PayPal, under their own terms.
4. Paid events and registrations
Prices, refund and cancellation terms for paid events are shown at registration. We may change, reschedule or cancel a program; if we cancel a paid event, we will offer a refund or credit. Links to online sessions are for registered participants only and may not be shared.
5. Wellness disclaimer
Our meditation and mindfulness programs are for general wellbeing and educational purposes only. They are not medical, psychological or professional advice, diagnosis or treatment, and are not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. Consult your health care provider before starting any new practice, especially if you have a health condition. You participate voluntarily and at your own risk.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Site for anything unlawful, harmful or fraudulent.
- Harass, threaten or disrupt other participants, online or in person.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, accounts or systems, or interfere with their operation.
- Post spam, malware or content that infringes others’ rights.
- Record, redistribute or resell our sessions or materials without written permission.
7. Intellectual property
All Site content, including text, audio, video, guided meditations, logos and graphics, belongs to QMS USA or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may use it for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
If you submit content to us (comments, testimonials, photos), you grant QMS USA a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it in connection with our mission. You confirm you have the right to share it.
8. Third-party links
The Site may link to or embed third-party services such as YouTube, Zoom, WhatsApp and payment processors. We are not responsible for their content, policies or practices.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site and our programs are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that any program will produce particular results.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, QMS USA, its directors, volunteers and instructors are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or participation in programs. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold QMS USA harmless from claims arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Site.
12. Governing law
